Born in Memphis, John has moved across the nation several times with family due to job requirements, always being taught respect and honesty. In 1987, John found himself at a crossroads in life, which actually turned into one of the best things that could ever happened to him; joining the U.S. Army and making it a career decision. During this wonderful and humbling experience, John married his wife of 29 years; had two beautiful children and 20 years later John retired from the military as a non-commissioned officer.
John is a strong advocate for our Family Values, Veteran's and their families, and the Community as a whole. John has worked for the last eleven and a half years as a Life Cycle Logistician, but now is continuing his educational growth as a full-time student at Liberty University Online, and holds a degree in Aviation Maintenance. Currently John sits as the Disabled American Veteran's (DAV) Chapter 45 Commander on their Executive Committee. John firmly believes that it is not about being at the forefront of anything, but being humble and assisting in making it happen for those in need.
John, desires the people to ask questions and be part of the overall solution of the community, as well, the state they live in.
